Ayorou, Niger 🇳🇪

This Songhai old town stands on an eponymous island in the River Niger. It is known for its animal market and wildlife including Hippopotamuses and Birds. This town was founded by Sonni Baru after he was overthrown as the Emperor of the Songhai Empire.

The Songhai languages, natively known collectively as the "Ayneha" languages are a group of closely related dialects centred on the middle stretches of the Niger River in West Africa. The Songhai languages are ssumed to constitute the primary branch of the Nilo-Saharan language family.  With more than four million speakers, Zarma is easily the widely spoken dialect followed by Songhoyboro Ciine and Koyraboro Senni (Gao dialect). Some Songhay languages have little to no mutual intelligibility between each other. For example, Koyraboro Senni, spoken in Gao, is unintelligible to speakers of Zarma in Niger. However, Songhoyboro Ciine, Zarma, and Dendi have high mutual intelligibility within Niger. PROMISING TALENT IN SABON ZANGO ANKARA

Am amazing talent  has recently emerged in this country by name Vincent Gokah who is 15years of age. He plays as a Central Defender and a Right Back at Great Somas FC at Salvation Park Accra. His level of commitment to the football course and well disciplined attitude led his team to great victories especially during the recent Juvenile League 2021 where they were crowned Champions.    It is a wonderful experience to watch this young talent on the field especially his movements when he has the ball. Great delivery of crosses, shooting and passing accuracy. He played a total of 76 games with 70 starts contributing to 20 assists and 10 goals. He’s proven beyond reasonable doubt his qualities when given the necessary opportunity to play.

MASARAUTA ZANGO ANKARA INSPECTION OF ONGOING PROJECTS IN THE COMMUNITY

​Earlier this afternoon, a delegation of the Masarauta Zango Ankara led by His Royal Highness Mai Martaba Sarki Alhaji Yahaya Hamisu Baako paid a working day visit to sites of various ongoing projects in the Sabon Zango Community.     The first place they visited was the Community Clinic which is under the supervision of Dr. Alhaji Oluman(Technical Advisor To The Vice-President). His Royal Highness expressed his gratitude for such a wonderful development during his era and wholeheartedly gave an envelope for the workers. From there, the delegation again moved to the oldest madrasa Islamiyya Islamic School  in Sabon Zango which was built in 1918 to also inspect how work is progressing. Again His Royal Highness expressed how excited he is to witness the construction of the Madrasa which is to serve as a means of imparting knowledge to our future generations to authorities in charge of the project.
