Current Ghanaian Super Light Weight Champion Faisal Abubakar aka Poncho Power Embarks On Media Tour🇬🇭🥊🥊

​After a flawless victory at the Bukom Arena for the Ghanaian Super Light Weight bout against Sanitor Agbenyo, it has been a very busy moments for the current Champion Poncho Power. Lots of media houses throughout the nation are all seeking to grant Faisal Abubakar an interview. As it stands now he is the talk of town in Ghanaian Boxing popularly known as Shatta Wale of Ghanaian Boxing. His demeanor alone is outstanding which makes his bout amazing to watch.  


 

He first granted an interview at ATV together with his coach where they talked much about the state of local boxing. The next media house was Pan AfricanTV again with his coach on the “HELLO ZONGO” show hosted by Latifa Adam where the champion and his coach laid more emphasis on the need to be well disciplined and hardworking if you want to achieve enough greatness. The next media house was Amanie FM on the Hausa Perspective show hosted by Mallam Abbass Babaguni where the host together with serial callers were super impressed especially from how his boxing career started. The Champion also showed much respect and appreciation since joining the Charles Quortey  Boxing Foundation few months ago for the quick transformation in his fighting skills. Marhaba FM was the final destination where Faisal Abubakar also expressed how emotional he has always been with regards to his fans all over the Sabon Zango community from day one till today. His major focus now is the African title which his management are working towards it as soon as possible.

Brief History Of Dosso, Niger 🇳🇪

Dosso was founded in the second half of the 18th century by the Zarma ruler Garanké as his capital where he established the rule of the Zarmakoy (the Zarma rulers of Dosso). This was the highest level of political administration and justice. The rulers of the surrounding Zarma areas had to pay homage to the prestigious Zarmakoy of Dosso. From 1820, Dosso found itself in constant armed conflict with the Fulani Sokoto Caliphate. In 1830,  Zarmakoy Laouzo died in a battle and was succeeded by Gounabi who was shortly deposed by the Sokoto Caliphate. Dosso remained for several years without a Zarmakoy under the rule of Usman Dan Fodio's Sokoto Caliphate until 1850 when Zarmakoy Kassom took over.
