TIME FOR REVENGE….???

​Finally the draw of the FIFA WORLD CUP in Qatar is out and Ghana happens to be in the group called the “GROUP OF REVENGE” which includes Portugal, South Korea and Uruguay. 

This group happens to be one of the most talked about due to happenings in the previous games especially with Portugal and Uruguay. Portugal which is led by the Greatest and Top Scorer of all time Cristiano Ronaldo gave Ghana some worst moments during their clash and this time around looking at the squad, something is bound to happen .

 

 

The much anticipated game which is Ghana against Uruguay has an unfinished business due to the pain Luis Suarez caused the Black Stars and the entire Ghanaian Citizenry on an African soil at South Africa in 2010. That famous handball will never be forgotten together with the missed penalty from African’s Top Scorer in the World Cup Asamoah Gyan. It was at the Quater-Finals stage which Uruguay won by penalties after Asamoah Gyan missed a penalty in the extra time. A long range goal from Midfield Dynamo Sulley Ali Muntari and Diego Forlans free kick was another awesome moment in the game. Lots of expectations ahead of this game and with the current squad we are yet to see whether Black Stars are taking a revenge or La Celeste(The Sky Blue) are maintaining their wining record.

Brief History Of Dosso, Niger 🇳🇪

Dosso was founded in the second half of the 18th century by the Zarma ruler Garanké as his capital where he established the rule of the Zarmakoy (the Zarma rulers of Dosso). This was the highest level of political administration and justice. The rulers of the surrounding Zarma areas had to pay homage to the prestigious Zarmakoy of Dosso. From 1820, Dosso found itself in constant armed conflict with the Fulani Sokoto Caliphate. In 1830,  Zarmakoy Laouzo died in a battle and was succeeded by Gounabi who was shortly deposed by the Sokoto Caliphate. Dosso remained for several years without a Zarmakoy under the rule of Usman Dan Fodio's Sokoto Caliphate until 1850 when Zarmakoy Kassom took over.
