Hausa Day/Sallah Remix(Durbar) At Sabon Zango Ankara on 28th August 2022

The very first time in history such a great event was held in Sabon Zango Ankara on 26th August 2021. In attendance was The National Chief Imam of Ghana, MP of Ablekuma Central, MCE of Ablekuma Central, Operations Director At Presidency, Nigerian High Commissioner to Ghana, Zongo Chiefs together with their subjects. Lots of cultural display and this Hausa Day celebration has a lot of significance which is to promote our cultural heritage, enhance peace and unity among the Hausa Community. This event was organized by Arewa Community under the Leadership of Sarki Alhaji Hamisu Yahya Baako (Sabon Zango Ankara OverLord) ❤️🙏🌎🇬🇭

This year celebration is in a grand style because it’s a combination of the Hausa Day and the Sallah Remix(Durbar) which is on 28th August 2022. There’s lots of expectations from citizens and diasporas as well due to how they have been well informed about things that takes place during the event. All the tribes in the Sabon Zango Ankara Community are coming out in their numbers together with their leaders to grace the occasion to make it more fruitful.

Brief History Of Dosso, Niger 🇳🇪

Dosso was founded in the second half of the 18th century by the Zarma ruler Garanké as his capital where he established the rule of the Zarmakoy (the Zarma rulers of Dosso). This was the highest level of political administration and justice. The rulers of the surrounding Zarma areas had to pay homage to the prestigious Zarmakoy of Dosso. From 1820, Dosso found itself in constant armed conflict with the Fulani Sokoto Caliphate. In 1830,  Zarmakoy Laouzo died in a battle and was succeeded by Gounabi who was shortly deposed by the Sokoto Caliphate. Dosso remained for several years without a Zarmakoy under the rule of Usman Dan Fodio's Sokoto Caliphate until 1850 when Zarmakoy Kassom took over.
